Beer description
Our first barrel aged beer was inspired by an 1851 recipe from the William Younger & Co. brewery, based in Edinburgh’s Canongate. This strong Scottish stout uses massive quantities of roasted malts to provide a deep character which is balanced by natural malt sweetness. This beer was then barrel aged in an Speyside whisky cask. Bottle conditioned. Drink fresh or age. Slàinte!
