Einsiedler Brauhaus - Einsiedler Maibock Zwickel

The homogeneous yeast cloudy color after orange and amber can really be seen, there is slightly yeasty, mixed-pored foam. Visually, it meets the expectations. Yeast and caramel malt are very strong in the nose, which is not surprising either. The Antrunk is full, yeasty, malty and sweet. Grassy, earthy hop notes are always present, but always subordinate to the strong malt flavor. The arranged alcohol content of 6.5% ABV appears believable, it provides for a powerful, but also slightly alcoholic body. The finish finds a balancing act between sweet and spicy, and here too the hop note remains elegant and subtle.
