Emperor's Brewery - Emperor's Broken Heart

There are only 20 bottles of Emperor’s Broken Heart (a 13.1% Damson & Coffee Imperial Stout) and only 15 will be released into the wild, as a thank you for the most generous donors to the JustGiving appeal for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, in memory of my mum, who passed away in May, 30 years ago. Beware, this coffee and damson imperial stout packs a punch! Brewed in January 2019, it has spent over 12 months in an oak cask sitting on damsons and rum-soaked coffee beans, cacao nibs and vanilla beans. …and although it’s rare…this beer is for drinking, open it with friends and raise a glass for all those loved ones who are no longer with us.
