The Double India Pale Ale or DIPA was born out of the modern American concept that "bigger is better". While sometimes true, the most important tenant when it comes to beer is always balance. It is paramount to remember all ingredients are never equal and going big on hops is not the same as going big on grain. Therefore, the intent of this incredible beer was to create a beer that was big in alcohol and flavor but still remarkably drinkable in a tropical climate. Everything about this beer is BIG! From its soft mouthfeel to its exploding hop flavor, this beer excites the senses. Although this beer is over 8% ABV, the intense blend of citrus and passionfruit flavor profiles makes this beer dangerously drinkable.
