Enlightened Brewing Company - Cream City Brix

The cream ale style has been produced since before prohibition. The same goes for the cream city bricks that Milwaukee’s known for – they were used to construct many of Milwaukee's most famous structures. So, what’s with the “brix” spelling? Well brix is simply a measurement of sugar used when making wine and cider… and the brewery way of paying tribute to the literal building blocks and beer history of Milwaukee. This cream ale is single hopped and made with Willamette for a light bodied and slightly malty flavor.
