Erl - Erlkönig Hell Can

This beer has just won an award at the European Beer Star in the German Style Helles Lager category. The beers from the ERL brewery are brewed in small batches after a deliberately slow maturing process, with consistent maintenance and refinement of the family recipes. In the age of process automation and mass production, this maturing process is as rare as it is worth seeing. The fermentation always takes place manually in open fermentation vats, as is actually only the case with wheat beers. After fermentation, the ERL beers mature in the brewery's cellar in horizontal storage tanks below ground.
