Erl - Erlkönig Imperator

The Erlkönig beers are still traditionally brewed with slow and calm fermentation and storage, as well as deliberately avoiding taste-reducing measures such as hop extract or short-term heating. The hops come directly from the hops farmers in Hallertau, the malt from the neighboring malt house and Franconia and the soft brewing water from our own controlled deep well is completely free of nitrates. The Imperator is strong golden, with a fine-pored, white foam crown that lasts for a long time. The aroma is flowery and fruity, the taste is sweet and full-bodied. Fine tart notes can also be heard quickly, which balance the sweetness well. The finish is mild and a bit tart, but the Imperator lingers for a long time.
