Fallen Mumby's

Your Mumby’s you have in front of you now follows in the footsteps of Gosport’s very own Mumby’s Ginger Beer. This unfined pale ale is hopped with experimental British hops that possess a Ginger aroma as well as being infused with Ginger root. Charles Mumby set up business in Gosport in 1849 as a chemist and manufacturer of mineral waters a stone throw from where our brewery is today. At the back of his shop was a large borehole accessing natural water in the chalk subsoil.
