Beer description

We have created an alcoholic malt beverage, food of its own kind, for you, in which we embrace the strange. Lots of things that seem strange at first glance combine to create a fruity, delicious summer treat. An original wort of 8.5°P makes the drink relatively light with an alcohol content of 3.8%. The Norwegian Kveik yeast adds a nice acidity and develops amazing fruity flavours. We support this with a single hopping with Cascade, which means that we have only used this one hop. In contrast to the usual use of this hop in the cold range, we only used it in the hot range, with a final hop addition in the whirlpool. In addition, the hopping produces a distinct bitterness, which is not too dominant, however, and contributes to the flavour in a balanced way. Vienna malt forms the basis of the mashing process. Supported by CaraRed, CaraAroma and some Pilsner malt, the result is a beautiful dark colour. To give this very light drink a slightly broader mouthfeel and at the same time increase the foam retention, we have added a few oat flakes and wheat malt. These oat flakes, as well as the sugar added for bottle fermentation, ensure that we get a malt beverage with a high alcohol content, as this takes us outside the purity regulations.
