Frivole La Brune

This craft brown ale style dark beer from microbrewery La Frivole is black in color with a rich, compact beige foam head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate unfold on the nose, coming from the roasted and toasted malts, as well as fruity notes that merge into a harmonious whole. In the mouth, the coffee notes are very present, then the citrus aromas of the hops appear, complemented by notes of orange peel. The secondary fermentation with chestnut honey makes it a gourmet beer and gives it a nice full-bodiedness. The brewer recommends this artisan amber beer with raw fish such as sushi or as a combination of beer and chocolate.
