Beer description

The Wiess is considered the predecessor of the Kölsch. Until the middle of the last century, the unfiltered light, top-fermented beer was drunk exclusively in Cologne breweries. With his Wiess, Gaffel reflects on this old form of Kölsch. It can only be found in gastronomy. There, according to tradition, it is freshly tapped.

Goldgelb trüb (naturtrüb), schöne Schaumkrone. Herb-fruchtig-grasig in der Nase. Herb im Antrunk, leicht malzige Süsse.
