Garage Beer Co. - Mash '24

This is a novelty for the brewers here at Garage Beer Co. We love trying out new ingredients that can give us exciting new flavours and in the official Mash 2024 IPA we have lots to play with. A juicy IPA in the traditional Vermont style using Yakima Chief Hops newest named variety, Krush (formerly HBC586) in both T90 and Hyperboost (oil boosted hop extract) formats, super fresh Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand and some juicy Citra. While it was still an experimental variety under the HBC586 moniker, Krush was showing loads of promise and brewers all over were trying to get their hands on it. It has recently been released as a commercial variety as a result of it’s success and due to its complex notes of guava, peach, orange and mango. We fermented this beer on the newly released White Labs WLP4000 Vermont Ale to greatly enhance the all those delightful tropical and stone fruit aromas. And in another first for Garage, this beer is packaged in beautiful digitally printed cans by NOMOQ.
