The history of Gilden Kölsch begins in the 13th century in the Veedel, which is today called the Old Town. Corner Untergoldschmied and Große Budengasse, opposite the city hall, met the Cologne merchants in the guild house. A fitting name, because it means in Low German not only Guild but also drinking. In 1869, the guild house then home and namesake of guild Kölsch. However, it was brewed on the right bank of the Rhine in Mülheim's first brewery. And that's exactly where Gilden Kölsch is still brewed today. It shows up pale yellow in the glass, with a bright white foam crown, which dissolves quickly. The aroma is predominantly malty, as well as the Antrunk - only in the middle part comes through a fine tartness, which remains until the finish.

Wer Tiefe will, nimmt nicht unbedingt Kölsch.
Aber trotzdem lecker
