Beer description

Gin + basil + lime. Well that’s what the signs in the Cidercades say, but there’s a lot more to it than that. Well, those are the basics, plus our kicking base apple cider, but the almost insane way the brew crew put these flavs together is nothing short of amazing. As some may know, we created [and by we, I mean the crazy talented white coats behind the glass curtain, not me] an insane cider called Gimli’s Gimlet, which even real, true to life gin drinkers love. But, and there always is one, the crew wasn’t totally satisfied [well, they were with that cider or they wouldn’t have put it out there], so they got to thinking [and that involves tasting if you know where I’m going with this] and for some reason, basil came up as an ingredient. It does pare well with lime, so why not. After a bunch of “tastings”, they got it just right and now y’all can give it a shot [but only at your local, total blast, Cidercade. And just FYI, they don’t do shots, you’ll have to drink it from a taster [[ avoid that option]] or a full on plastic cup]. Going back to the Cidercade description… it really is that simple [sans the gin, as we’re not permitted to add liquor to our ciders]. It’s a super interesting cider with notes of gin [once again… not real gin, but it sure tastes like it], but the basil and lime are the winners. Totally refreshing and slightly sour and tart, with a clean finish. Only around for a bit, so go drink you some! Cheers!
