Vintage Beer 2022 | No. 10. The master brewers’ intention was to capture the unique aroma of Swiss stone pine in our 2022 vintage beer. The wood used for this comes from South Tyrol and was freshly harvested specifically for our specialty at an altitude of over 2,000 meters in the mountains of the Ahrntal Valley. To round out this unique creation, Munich malt was added to the Pilsner malt, which, together with the three different Tettnang aroma hops and the Swiss stone pine wood, come together in perfect harmony. When poured, our masterpiece presents itself with a velvety forest honey hue, and the delicate scent of the wood immediately rises to the nose through the creamy head. On the first sip, the full-bodied character reveals itself, with hints of caramel and honey, paired with the unmistakable aroma of Swiss stone pine, which, in harmony with the hops, lingers gently on the finish.
