Le Prospecteur - Golden Manitou

Manitou is the fundamental spiritual life force of Algonquin groups in Amerindian mythology. Aashaa monetoo means "good spirit". Golden Manitou Mine (1942-1979) is also a gold mining site located some 15 km south-east of the town of Val-d'Or. On these notes of Abitibi history, we present to you the monastic-inspired beer: Golden Manitou. This strong Belgian blonde ale is balanced by a smooth, refined bitterness, aromas of freshly cut hay and a strong effervescence. The complexity of this beer is the work of Abbey yeast, which gives it flavours of fresh fruit, spices and orange blossom.
