Beer description
The city of Dortmund historically had high levels of sulfates in the source water, which led to enhanced hop character in their beers. Our Dortmunder lager is typical of the style: the rich and complex malt sweetness of a helles lager with the pronounced hop character of a German pils supported by a slightly elevated alcohol content. We brewed this beer with our friends from Jack’s Abby (Framingham, MA).
