GRANDA Be Grapeful with Wicklow Wolf - Fruity IGA | 2023 #4

Fourth interpretation of the BE GRAPEFUL project. This is a series of international collaborations in which we have invited famous European breweries to create original reinterpretations of the Italian Grape Ale (IGA) style. Together with Wicklow Wolf, an Irish brewery known for its distinctive beers, we created a fruity IGA in which the aroma of peaches perfectly complements the hop component and the more delicate flavors of grape must from the Vite Colte winery in Barolo. The pressing took place on May 18, 2023 at Birrificio della Granda in Lagnasco. The idea for Fruity IGA came from the connection between the fruity IPAs that have made Wicklow Wolf famous, our experience in combining fruit and hops, and the muscat must that is the perfect link between all of this.
