Beer description
WALNUT and Banana Hard Cidert. The cider started off with a very interesting Belgian yeast that got cold aged for around a year and a half. The payoff was amazing. Besides the wonderful Belgian aroma, this cider gained a nice grain like character to the drink without using any grain products. From there it was time to build off of this cider base with some fun and uncommon ingredients. First was fresh banana to add to the flavor and aromatics that are very well known in a Belgian style beer with a creamy banana base. after that flavor was captured we started working on the black walnut. Besides the obvious, the black walnut adds some complex brown sugar notes with dark woodsy and vanilla. A little suga rwas added to sweeten up and balance.
