Gross - Etxekoi

Etxekoi is one of those NEIPAs that greets you before you even put your nose to the glass. The Simcoe and Strata combination sets the pace from the very first sip: ripe stone fruit, a touch of tropical flavor, and that slightly dank note that only these hops can deliver. For this brew, we were joined by our friends from White Labs, who brought us their Burlington Ale Yeast. And it really shows: clean fermentation, a crisp aromatic profile, and a mouthfeel that holds its own without being overly sweet. Compared to Gross's standard NEIPAs, Etxekoi is a bit drier and more direct. It's still juicy, but with a more refined finish that makes you want another sip. Hazy, pale, and with a persistent white head, it goes down smoothly and leaves a fresh, fruity, and very distinctive aftertaste. An aromatic, balanced NEIPA with that "easy" touch that makes the glass disappear without you even noticing.
