Beer description
Classic Belgian Wit the Genste Stadsbrouwerij Gruut after a traditional recipe. Gruut are in Belgium the spices that were used in the Middle Ages as a means of payment. Ghent was an important trading city and therefore rich in spices, which were then used to brew beer. Straw yellow to gold in the color with slight natural clouding, very refreshing, citrusy and spicy with yeasty hints.
