Beer description
The amber Guernouillette with Breton seaweed is brewed by the Brasserie de la Guernouillette in Saint-Brieuc (22). Two seaweeds, dulse and kombu, are mainly used. After pouring, the beer shows a little rich and not very long-lasting foam. The eye recognizes a very light amber color resembling a blond. On the nose it shows aromas of malt, caramel (caused by the slightly sweet Breton kombu) and a subtle side of iodine. The taste shows a slightly caramelized sweetness and a light note of iodine. It should be noted that it has a certain bitterness.
