Beer description

4G is a four grain pale triple beer produced by the La Guernouillette microbrewery. The name means "4 grains": wheat, rye, oats and barley (the grain is organic and produced in Brittany at the Ploeuc sur Lié malthouse). The beer is pale blond, cloudy in color and has a medium-heavy, fairly long-lasting foam when poured (a fine layer of foam remains throughout the drink). Lemon and hop notes as well as aromas of bitter orange peel and coriander can be recognized on the nose. In the mouth, the initial taste is sour and rather mild, which is surprising given that this beer has an alcohol content of 9°. It is a little bubbled, not very long in the finish and you can find the citrus aromas and light apricot notes.
