Beer description

La Guernouillette Brune aux épices des Antilles is a dark Barley Wine type beer brewed by the La Guernouillette brewery in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes d'Armor). This beer has a beautiful brown color and an ivory foam. On the nose it is characterized by notes of malt mixed with spicy aromas. As the brewery explains on their website, it is made up of various spices such as baïtang pepper, coriander, peppermint etc. Alongside the spices, this Barley Wine also reveals subtle sweet notes. In the mouth one discovers a powerful beer with a very spicy attack and a strong presence of pepper. In the aftertaste one notices a certain, very pleasant bitterness.
