Guernouillette Halloween

La Guernouillette Halloween 2017 is a pumpkin beer style beer made by Brasserie La Guernouillette in Saint-Brieuc. It's a beer brewed with homemade pumpkin and grapefruit confit (25%). Its foam is white, rich and persistent. It's a nice foam with a good glass hold. Its color is orange, which matches the pumpkin. In the nose you can find quite clear pumpkin notes and light citrus aromas. It is a well malted beer on the nose with sweet notes reminiscent of biscuit. In the mouth one is surprised by a rather pronounced bitterness with citrus notes that also lingers well in the mouth. It's a fairly dry beer, contrary to what the style might suggest at first glance. During the tasting, it unfolds a nice texture in the mouth.
