La Guernouillette - Impérial IPA

La Guernouillette IPA Impériale is a pale ale produced by Brasserie La Guernouillette in Saint-Brieuc, in the Côtes-d'Armor department. It is an Imperial IPA (India Pale Ale) and has an alcohol content of 7.2%. In the glass it shows a beautiful white, lush and persistent foam and a blonde, slightly coppery color. The aroma is characterized by earthy, resinous, earthy and spicy hop notes. In the mouth it offers a nice fullness without being too sweet, with a persistent bitterness. One also finds the resinous side, which is felt at the aromatic level. Contrary to what one might suspect, the alcohol is rather discreet despite its 7.2%.
