Gulden Spoor - Quadrupel

The beer is deep red to brown colored and has a nice cream colored head. The aroma is malty and light fruity, with notes of caramel, dried fruits, yeast, bread, candy sugar, light chocolate and spices (coriander like). The taste is full bodied and sweet malty with notes of caramel and dried fruits and goes to bitter with yeast, chocolate and spices. The finish is long, light dry, bitter and a little alcoholic.
