Beer description

Große Teufel is Ken Rayher’s take on the once nearly extinct Lichtenhainer – an Eastern German ale that strikes an exceptional balance between its smoked barley base and lactic acid tartness. Megafaunel wolves, Elasmothere, and the Megaloceros no longer roam the earth, but the Lichtenhainer lives on. *Pronunciation: [Gross-uh Toy-full] A part of the Hardywood Brewer & Artist Collaboration Series, Große Teufel features label art by Katie McBride and Jonathan Lee.
