Beer description

“As a brewer, my first love has been malt and only malt. I want to drink beers with richness and depth, something that lingers on the mouth, so obviously, barleywine is at the top of my list. Nepsis represents a certain purity in that regard; a ridiculous amount of high-quality pale malt, a characterful English yeast, and highly bittered with Phoenix hops to temper the sweetness. Then, for yuks, I threw it in Port barrels to round out the dark fruit character of the fermentation and give it a touch of oak for balance. Nepsis is a beer that shows the beauty of simplicity; consider it a toast from me to you. ”-Jay Eychaner Asechiah Bogdan is a musician and illustrator drawing inspiration from nature, myth, and old horror films.
