Beer description
This was brewed with a variety of all British Malt and hops. Most of our barleywines are brewed sweeter and hoppier intentionally for barrel aging. Not barrel aged, this was brewed as a more traditional English Barleywine. Smells of fine Werther’s Original covered tobacco leaf. Tasting older than it is, expect notes of hop-derived black currant, candied cherries, as well as an earthy undertone. Reminiscent of a brisk Autumn evening. The Maris Otter Pale Malt base provides a nice caramel, just sweet enough, base.
