Beer description

Brewed according to Henry Harvey's Porter recipe from 1859. Light, crystalline and black malt combined with a generous hop meal of Fuggles and Goldings. Full and round with roasted malts in the foreground. It is conditioned in the barrel for four weeks before being released from the wineries of the brewery. Harvey's Porter was best in class and overall second in the 1995 GBBF Olympics. In 1999, it was awarded "Ultimate Pizza Beer" at the Beauty of Hops Awards.
