Hawthorn Brewery - Hawthorn Amber Ale

While most hops in the Hawthorn range of hops are the superficial star, and the malt acts as a lender with a more subordinate role, the Amber Ale is the opposite. Inspired by the traditional northern English brown ales, this ale convinces with subtle, earthy, slightly sweet-bitter hop notes, otherwise dominated by a vastly complex malt aroma. Founded in 2008 in a garage in Melbourne, the Hawthorn Brewing Company is one of the most ambitious and successful breweries in Australia.
