Beer description
As the Cherry Blossoms explode around us, we decided to welcome Spring with a refreshing, tart, crisp, blueberry pomegranate sour ale. We brewed it with a genetically modified yeast that produces clean lactic acid during fermentation - without all the funky aromas one gets by using traditional kettle souring techniques. We've added more than four gallons per barrel of fruit juice to provide a subtle sweetness and a pleasant fruity aroma. BPM goes down easy with a bright, snappy finish-- available exclusively on tap at the Heavy Seas Taproom!
