Beer description
The Bavarians call it Weissbier and it has been the most popular type of beer south of the Main for twenty years. The Germans have perfected this beer style and make no compromises even in modern times. Hefeweizen is probably the best known of the wheat beers. It is unfiltered and naturally cloudy. Our Hefeweizen is a top-fermented, tangy beer with a fruity wheat note and a subtle banana flavour. The palate is characterised by cloves and a malty, bready note. It has hardly any hop bitterness.
