Beer description
Richly tasteful and unpretentious Imperial Stout
Black beer of the night, crowned by a beautiful beige foam. Aromatic toasted malt and coffee-like. Behind the oily structure there is a roasted and warming taste. The aftertaste is a combination of berry acidity and round maltiness. Sofia is an imperial stout that draws on British beer tradition without gimmicks.
Bryggeri Helsinki Sofia Imperial Stout won silver in the European Beer Star competition in 2018. More than 2,300 beers from 51 different countries took part in the competition.
