Hesket Blencathra Smoked Porter

This is not a smoked beer that tastes like an old bonfire but rather a drink that is rich with layers of flavour and a velvety mouthfeel. Dark, roasted malts bring plum, raisin and treacle flavours to the beer while a combination of lightly citric English Hops and lots of Chinook lend a balanced bitterness that lingers and pairs beautifully with the subtle beech smoked malt from Germany.
