Taxandria Peaty Barrel is a dark, top-fermented beer that has been aged for an additional three months in peated whisky barrels from Islay, Scotland. This gives the beer a strong peaty flavor reminiscent of a cozy evening by the campfire or fireplace. After this maturation, the flavor of the beer is further enriched by a whisky blend. The soft undertones of this whisky harmoniously accompany the typical stout flavors of caramel and burnt cocoa.
