What makes our Berliner Weisse so lecker? The berries, Freunde, the berries. We dove headfirst into the Dutch dunes to forage enough local feral blackberries to create a refreshing summer ale that is tart and complex, tangy and citrusy. Did all that plucking hurt? Yes, sir, it did. Are we wounded? Just the flesh, not our souls. It was a small sacrifice to make for this wildly fresh Berliner Weisse, literally equal parts pain and pleasure.
