Beer description
We pulled a recipe from the Wren House vault and decided to add some tweaks and updates to bring it up to spec. This go around, we started with a grain bill of Pilsner malt and red wheat to ensure beautiful color and top-notch head retention. We then bittered it gently with Saaz and some grapefruit-forward Amarillo at the end of the boil. During the boil we also added some lovely & local Arizona wild flower honey for a more complex flavor profile while also achieving a desirable dry finish. To top things off, we dosed with a subtle amount of dried chamomile. The result is a honey-forward American Wheat ale with notes of honey biscuit, orange blossom and trumpet flower. We are beyond thrilled to share a Wren House classic with you all again! 6.1% abv.
