Beer description
A robust version of our Gallagher Irish Stout, where dark malts and Irish seaweed blend seamlessly with peated malt, Madagascar vanilla beans, and Brazilian cocoa nibs. The goal is to evoke childhood trips to Ireland at Christmas, to my grandparents’ home on the coast of Bangor, east of Belfast. Recalling the walk through the woods leading to the sea brings back so many smells and flavors… lots of chocolate, lots of iodine, lots of vanilla-flavored sweets, and the return home with the scent of peat burning along the path.
