With nitrogen (nitro) added, the Nua Stout gets its typical, fine-pored foam and velvety texture that one expects from a true stout. In order for this effect to come out perfectly, it is served through a special pump – just as you would find in Irish pubs.
In taste, the Nua Stout presents itself full-bodied and harmonious, with subtle notes of cocoa and coffee, carried by a mild sweetness and a pleasant bitterness.
