Brew Age - HØLZ

Hølz - øl for the pleasure gear! HøLZ is a barrel-aged imperial stout with an alcohol content of 10.5%. The beer was allowed to mature to perfection for around 18 months in rum barrels from the Farthofer distillery (Mostviertel) and the Rogner distillery (Waldviertel) to finally become another highlight of our barrel-aged series. The aroma spectrum of the deep black beer with a creamy foam crown is composed of intense cocoa, roasted coffee, rum & dark caramel notes. Undoubtedly a beer with excellent ageing potential.
