Beer description
A brand new addition to the range is the honey beer Cervisia Castel, which was brewed according to the Craftbee honey beer recipe.
Both Celts and Germanic tribes held beer in high esteem. It was not uncommon for it to be refined by the addition of honey, as archaeological finds prove.
As it could hardly be more fitting, not just any honey is used in the new edition, but fine blossom honey from the honey manufactory Kastel-Staadt, collected by bees around the Celtic plateau in Kastel-Staadt.
However, the honey is not only used for sweetening, but it forms a balanced counterpoint to the bitter hops, which gives the drink a depth and complexity of flavour that is otherwise only known from good wines.
