Ginger ( Zingiber officinale ) is native to Asia, where it has been used for millennia for its excellent taste, among other things. Honkavuori's award-winning wheat beers Valo encountered ginger and thus INKERI, ginger wheat beers, was born. Inkeri is at its best enjoyed frosty cold.
