Your favorite cat with ice cream bears is already on vacation in the Mediterranean. That doesn't seem quite fair, does it? The second destination is a little further east, but not much. GELATO SOURPUSS: BAKLAVA SUNDAE has its obvious inspiration and plays with honey and pistachio ice cream (no Dondurma tricks, promised, but this time with a hint of lactose), topped with extra walnuts and pistachios as well as real honey, jazzed up with layers of sugared phyllo dough and fluffy peaches. Add a bit of forest fruits for that special touch. Sweet and sticky, savory with rich nuttiness, refreshed by the pleasantly sour berry note.
