Hoppebräu - Big Load (Hoppebräu x Yankee & Kraut)

Markus (Hoppebräu) and Bryan (Yankee&Kraut) had been looking for an opportunity to brew something together for some time, and what could be better suited for this than the competition of the Hop Growers of America, which focuses on four hop varieties (Krush, Elani, Custer, and Zeuss). This combination practically begged for a West Coast IPA, and the result confirms this impressively. Resinous, well-balanced bitterness, and a fruitiness that one can only wish for. This batch is extremely limited. Why "BIG LOAD"? Because we packed in 10kg of each of the 4 varieties. And all of this in just 17hl of bottling quantity!
