Hoppebräu - SLYRS Oak Aged Imperial Stout (2017)

Not only the mixture of light and dark roasted malt varieties and the generous hopping with the hop variety Mosaic give this Imperial Stout its intense taste. The storage of several months in Slyrs whiskey barrels made from toasted US oak also contributes to a decisive part of the variety of flavors. The slim-looking beer not only has malty aromas of chocolate, licorice and coffee, but also woody notes, hints of vanilla and sherry, adding to a balanced but highly complex variety of flavors and turning the beer into something special Wolf in sheep's clothing.
