Hoppebräu - SLYRS Oak Aged Imperial Stout (2024)

For the SLYRS OAK AGED, a strong Imperial Stout was brewed. After three months in the tank, the beer matured for another four months in Slyrs Whisky Rye barrels. Deep black, with a velvety, creamy foam, a wonderfully intense aroma of coffee, chocolate, and dried fruit unfolds in the glass, paired with the typical whiskey notes of vanilla and oak wood. On the palate, our SLYRS OAK AGED is full-bodied and complex with distinct coffee and whiskey notes. Robust roasted flavors and a subtle sweetness in the long finish reminiscent of espresso and Tiramisu. Malts: Pilsner malt, Munich malt, Caraaroma, roasted malt, wheat roasted malt, wheat caramel malt, Munich malt type 2.
