Beer description

Chmely: Motueka, NZ Cascade, Rakau, Waimea. Yeast: Bottom, SafLager S-189. A beer brewed along the lines of New Zealand lagers, using only New Zealand hop varieties imported from the land of the Lord of the Rings. This beer is made from pale malts and bottom-fermented, allowing the unique aroma of the New Zealand hops, which were also used for cold hopping during the maturation process, to shine through. The aroma is dominated by the intense aroma of New Zealand hops, which moves from grapefruit, lime and lemon through floral to the typical piney green hop aroma. The flavour hides a mild and clean maltiness behind an intense bitterness. This beer is fresh and aromatic, but at the same time strong and dense
