Beer description

Fruit beer has taken over the Belgian tradition of fruit beer to bring it to Sicily and give life to the first prickly pear beer of Sicily, 2nd place in the Cerevisia 2014 South and Islands Prize and Luppolo d'Oro for Best Italian Beer 2016. The color varies from deep orange to bright red depending on the prevalence of fruits of the "Sulfarina" or "Sanguigna" cultivar. The flavor of prickly pear harmonizes with the aroma of malts and is balanced by the bitterness of hops. Excellent as a meditation beer, with cheeses, with fruit and with dry desserts.
